What Does It Cost to Build?

1What are the costs? Several factors can make the cost of the same cabin vary from customer to customer. It can depend on things such as the steepness of the land, the type of septic system, the roads and driveways leading to the house site, the water source, whether retaining walls are needed, etc. In addition, items such as wood flooring, granite countertops, kitchen cabinets, and fireplaces can vary significantly in price depending on your choices and budget.

The current building costs for the specialty Timber-Frame Log Cabins we build are $400 to $450 per square foot.

The current building costs for a mountain home built using traditional construction(2x6 exterior walls) start at $350 per square foot.

You can choose from any of our plans, or if you already have a floor plan you like, we can build that too. Finished basements can be added to any of our plans
